Can I make International calls with my Verizon Prepaid Long Distance Phone Card?

Most Verizon Prepaid Long Distance Phone Cards allow International calls. Rates for prepaid card international calls differ depending on the type of card you have and the country to which you are calling. To determine the per minute rate for a specific phone number call the Customer Service number located on the back of your card.

 

How do I call from the United States to an International destination?

Follow these steps to place a call from the United States, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, Saipan and the U.S. Virgin Islands to virtually anywhere in the world:

  • Dial the access number located on the back of your card.
  • Enter your PIN and press 1 to place a call when prompted.
  • Dial 011 + the country code + the city code + the phone number you wish to call.

How do I call the United States from an International location?

As of October 1, 2014, calls from International locations will only be allowed from Canada, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Marianas, Guam, American Samoa and St. Maarten.

To place a call from these locations, simply dial the access number on the back of your card, select English or Spanish and enter the PIN when prompted. When you hear the menu options, press 1 to make a call and then dial the area code and phone number you wish to call.
